Holiday Highlight...SANTA!!

We had many fun visits with Santa this year!! Mylee just couldn't get enough she kept kissing our Santa who is just her size!

Holiday Highlight...Ally's Dance Recital

SHE DID IT!! Ally got over her stage fright and for the first time she danced both dances in her Christmas Recital!! She did wonderful!! Ally was the youngest in her group. She danced with the 3rd graders so she could be with her friend Emma. But she was the best dancer of all even though she is a 2nd grader!!
The curls turned out great thanks to the Grensing's hot sticks! Below is Ally and her friend Emma!
Ally invited both of her 2nd grade teachers and they came to her recital! You can tell they love her! They totally enjoyed the performance and were so cute to Ally. We love Mrs. Jorgensen and Miss Petersen!

We were able to go and see the UNLV Rebels play over the Thanksgiving weekend! The Grensings are always so generous to us! Thanks for the fun! Here are some cute pictures of the big and little kids enjoying the game!

Happy Birthday Kevin!!

It doesn't matter if Kevin is climbing up a rock, hiking in a canyon, running a marathon, carrying Mylee or spending time with his family he puts his all into it! He is the best husband and father. He gives us 110% of himslef all the time. Kevin keeps the adventure and entertainment high in our household. We are glad he keeps us going from one great adventure to the next. Kevin has no problem with aging, probably because he still looks 20!! He makes my life wonderful, allowing me to stay home and be a mom, he always loves my cooking, and has a great attitude on life. Kev makes each day enjoyable. I love being married to him. Our children adore their Dad. He is always so great at spending time with them and doing stuff with them. We just wanted to wish him the happiest birthday ever. You are the GREATEST. Thanks for all you do for our family. We Love you. Holly, Dallon, Ally and Mylee.

Thanksgiving

I am just sitting here on this beautiful Thanksgiving Day in St. George thinking of all the many things I have to be Thankful for. The weather here is great! Kevin took the kids on a walk while I finished making our wonderful dinner. Mylee doesn't want to come inside, she would rather just stay out all day. I am so thankful that we were able to go south where the weather is warm. We have to hold on to the warm for as long as we can. We are very Thankful to have such a nice place to come to in Southern Utah. I am also Thankful for my awesome husband. He helps me so much and always treats me so kind. I am Thankful for my beautiful children, they make life so fun and exciting. I am thankful for my family and all they do to for us. I am also thankful for Kev's family. They are always so kind and willing to help. I am thankful for friends, their time and wonderful examples. I am very thankful for my good health, my nice home and the country I live in. I feel very blessed for all I have been given. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Be Prepared--This is kinda GROSS!!

We have a problem!! Mylee keeps taking off her diaper and pooping on the floor! We have to watch her close! This picture is of one time when she squatted and her shoe was on the floor under her and lets just say no poop hit the floor!! It was much easier to clean out the shoe than to scrub the carpet!

This is hard for me because I usually don't put much about me on my blog. I would rather talk about my kids, husband, or my family. So here it is the best I can do about me!!

I am a sucker for: buying stuff for my kids, chocolate--anything chocolate, Tiapan(home decor store) chick flicks, shoes, the News, my KIDS.

My Worldly Desires: To be a size 4, to live in a LARGE house, to have everything in my life organized, to invent something that makes life easier for someone, a bigger closet, and a beautiful backyard that people will want to have wedding receptions in.

My prize possessions: Kevin, Dallon, Ally, and Mylee. My scrapbooks and pictures. My house(On a good day) my mom, my dates and vacations with Kevin.

I will never wear______again: my pants pegged, overalls, big bangs, and stirrup pants.

Things I Love: Sleep!!! A clean house, my family, parties, my DVR, giving gifts to others, planning trips, a date with Kevin, a good book and doing fun stuff with my family.

Things I Hate: Cold toes, my small kitchen, dirty kitchens, fixing my hair, getting out of bed, and when my cleaning lady is slow or doesn't show.

Randomness: I wish my mom and sisters lived in the same city as me. I want more hours in the day! I wish Exercise didn't take time. Why can't my dream house in the perfect neighborhood just fall into my lap??

On Sunday everyone came over to celebrate Mylee's 1st Birthday. She loved the attention and had a wonderful birthday. I can't believe it has been a year since she was born. It seems like yesterday. Time flies. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts you are all so kind!!
Mylee is a sweet little baby girl. She brings so much joy and happiness to our home. We love you Mylee. Keep us giggling!!

Halloween Fun!!!

We have Hannah Montana, The 80's Rock Star, and our sweet Angel! We had a really fun stress free Halloween. The kids are out of School for their Fall Break. We made treats all day and then went and did some visiting in our costumes. Then we had JaNae & Dan and Adrian & Emily over for Soup. The kids did Trick -or- Treating with Kevin and their Friends. We didn't have to worry about staying up to late because there was no school the next day! But Dallon got sick on Thursday!! Guess Why?? To much CANDY!!!!
This looks just like Kevin in High School, but Kev had blond hair!!
Allys Wig was so hard to keep from getting tangled!! Mylee was so tired she only took a 30 minute nap that day!!
My kids are still on their fall break from school so some of Ally's Friends had a fun party. This is Ally's teachers and some of her friends at the party.
Kevin's Office staff even dressed up for the day!! Kevin has been Hermi the Dentist Elf (From The Rudolph Movie) for the last 2 years. Everyone thinks he is Buddy The Elf. I must say he looks GREAT in the Yellow tights.!!

FOOTBALL

Dallon just completed a very successful First season of Flag Football!! He did awesome and had lots of fun. He had several interceptions that resulted in him scoring several touchdowns. He also played quarterback a lot and threw for many great touchdowns. We all learned a lot about dealing with a one of a kind coach!!(not the good kind) Now we get a one month break before we start BASKETBALL!!

Mylee

It is official Mylee is drinking cows milk!! We are so glad to be done with nursing and formula!! I weaned her two weeks early but she loves milk and has become so independent!! She is such a fun loving baby and a fun addition to our family. I don't know what we would do without her! I told Kevin I need to take a trip now after nursing and being tied down for one year!! I'm ready for a warm, sandy beach!! Love ya Mylee!!

Our family has became good friends with a NBA player on the Philadelphia 76ers- Kyle Korver.
We met him through the Grensings. He played for Greg at Creighton. We have been following his career for years! Each time the 76ers come to play the JAZZ we get treated like royalty!! Kyle gives us really good seats and passes to go on the court and visit with him after the game! He is an awesome ball player and great person - so humble and down to earth! And in case you didn't notice he is a HOTTIE!! We are so excited because this year we get to see him twice. The JAZZ play Philly again in regular season play! This is the only time we cheer against the JAZZ!
