Busy Week

We have been very busy this last week. Kevin's brother Chris, his wife Jenny and their two boys Caden and Boston have been in town form Tennessee. We have been spending every minute we can with them. We have had so much fun, from eating out to family pictures!! There is never a dull moment when Caden is around. He can do a great Elvis impersonation. He is a crack up and keeps us all laughing. Boston is full of spunk too. They are such cute boys and our kids have enjoyed having their cousins in town.

Monte and Carolyn (Kev's parents) had their "farewell" on Sunday. They leave for the MTC on Oct. 1st and then off to England the following Monday. We are all going to miss them so much. It is really hitting Kev--his parents are going to be gone for 18 months. The will be great missionaries and the people in England will be very blessed to have them. But we will miss them everyday. They are a great example to us all. I think it is especially good for Dallon to see them go since he is the next missionary in the family. This darling picture, of the Yeager grandchildren, was taken on Sunday after church.

The On-Going Birithday!

We have been celebrating Dallon's Birthday all month! But now we are done!(I HOPE) On Friday we took Dallon and 6 of his friends rock climbing in Draper. Colby came up to help. Thanks Colby, we couldn't have done it without you. Kevin's brother Chris and his little boy Caden also joined us. We climbed for about 3 hours and then came back to our house to roast hot dogs, marshmallows and have a sleepover. Dallon has good friends. They were all good and didn't party to late! I am glad Kevin has motivated our kids to be such good climbers. And Mylee in the Backpack is staring out young!

Rock Climbing for Dallon's Birthday

Mylee is busy eating Styrofoam while I am updating my blog. She is such a busy body. She is so little and sweet one minute and throwing the biggest fit the next. She can do way to much for a 10 month old baby. Her vocabulary now consists of 12 words. Her newest is ALLY. She walks around the house all day looking for her sister! I just showed her Dallons picture on the blog and she got so excited, she loves her siblings. Today Mylee stayed with my neighbor Geles for about an hour while I went over to help in Dallon's classroom. She was really good my neighbor said. Next week she will go to my cousin Tiffany's while I go and help in Ally's classroom. I love to go into my kids classrooms. They both have great teachers. I feel very blessed that my kids get to go to such a great school that is so close to our house!. Before I know it Mylee will be in school. I better enjoy every minute of her messes!!

Ally and her fear of Bad Weather!

Ally took this to show me how bad the skies were at her
soccer game beacuse I was at the scrapbook party. Looks pretty blue to me!!

Ally played her second soccer game last Saturday with her team THE CHEETAH GIRLS. Ally did a lot more worrying about the weather than playing soccer. She has developed a huge fear of thunder and lightening. She panics if the skies are a little cloudy. Even white fluffy clouds give her anxiety. She is such a stubborn little cutie. She won't stop worrying about the weather. The forecast says rain for Saturday. She probably won't leave the house for the game. I hope she outgrows this!

I can't believe Dallon is 11. It seems like just yesterday he was toddling around our townhouse at Village Green in Omaha. Dallon we all love you. Happy Birthday. Friday Dallon is having a big rock climbing party with 5 of his good friends.

Dallon's 11th Birthday

Dallon celebrated his 11th Birthday on Monday with his Wild Hogs Baseball Team. Gigi, Papa, Grandma and Grandapa Yeager, and Aunt Emily and Uncle Adrian came to watch the double header. They had pizza in between games and a big cake after!! Dallon did awesome his first year at baseball. He played first base a lot this season. I think Dallon has a natural talent for baseball. He plans to try out for Spring Ball. I loved watching him play--it brings back good memories of my softball days! I look forward to more baseball in the Spring. Hopefully Mylee can survive more days at the dirty baseball field.
