Mylee Update!!

Mylee isn't scared of much--except going to nursery! Here she is running away from home, riding a pony by herself, doing gymnastics,

having me teach her how to ride a bike, and swimming like a fish!
She loves her siblings and all their friends!!

She is learning (slowly) to share with her cousins Noah and Boston, She loves to dance, and knows how to work her dad's ipod!!

She doesn't sleep much! She loves doing art work on my counter tops!!

But we love her because she keeps us smiling and laughing every minute!!

Ally Update

Ally is always begging me to give her a make over! Her friend was over and they were begging me again...so we did spa day!! From facials, to nails, toes and hair! They were refreshed and ready to put on a "rock concert" for Mylee and I!

Ally played soccer this fall again! But this year she really got into it! She was the high scorer on her team! It was amazing how aggressive she became! I'm sure it had nothing to do with the webkins I promised her if she scored a goal! (I forgot to take my camera to the games, so here she is in action in the back yard!)

When Ally is not busy playing soccer, getting make overs, playing with friends, or entertaining Mylee she is working hard in school! Below is a house she built for Ralph S. Mouse! She was into detailing the furniture!

At the local pumpkin patch!!
Ally loves her siblings and her cousins!

It rained the entire marathon but Kev kept on running and he even shaved time off from last year! He is an amazing athlete, father and husband!

Dallon Update

Dallon received the priesthood on September 21, 2008. He loves passing the sacrament, being in young men's, and his scout leaders! He is so happy to be out of primary singing time!! He is such a good example to Mylee and Ally. They look up to him so much!

Dallon played on a Fall baseball league and had a great time! We had to drive to sandy twice a week for games but it was worth it! After his last game (on his birthday) we celebrated with his team! We took a cake and Dallon was "caked" by all his team mates! They had a blast! We celebrated more with family at home and also...

with friends! I can't believe Dallon will be a teenager next year! YIKES!

This is it!!!

Well almost 3 months after ariving home from our trip I am finally doing the last post!! I know I am slow and crazy but here it is....FINALLY>>>>

We ended our trip in the Algarve, which was Kevin's first area he served his mission in! This picture below is the first place he lived, in Quarteria, just steps away from the beach! Things have changed a lot in 19 years-it has become more commercialized. His old "home" is now a store! But the city and its beaches are still beautiful! We stayed in a resort town called Vilamoura, we walked every day over to Quarteria to buy groceries, do our laundry and shoe shop!

The marina was very close to our hotel and each night we would walk down and try one of the many restaurants that surrounded the marina. We loved eating the fresh fish and trying a new place each night! The Algarve was very family friendly place to vacation. There were lots of families on vacation. Everyone had kids and we met some really neat families!

We spent most of our days on the beach enjoying the sunshine and waves! The water was colder than I thought it would be! It guess it is to close to the Atlantic Ocean to be warm. My kids didn't mind. Dallon and Ally spent hours on the beach and in the water!

It was nice after all of the go-go-go to relax and enjoy the beach. But it made us wish we could stay longer!

Mylee enjoyed the sand--eating it and playing in it!

We headed to the Gypsy market and Ally got her hair braided! We found some great buys on famous Portugal Pottery, shoes, linens and much more!

Kevin also wanted to take us to the fish market where he use to buy his food on his mission! It was very interesting, educational and STINKY!!

We even attended church in an inland town called Faro! Kev did some of his baptisms here! The people were so amazing! It was fast Sunday and Kevin bore the most amazing testimony in Portuguese! Everyone was very touched! The church had no air conditioning! It was a hot 98 degree day! After church everyone wanted to meet us, they were inviting us to lunch, and even arranging marriage for Dallon!! It was so touching and a great testimony builder for our family! We hopped in our nice air conditioned car and felt guilty as some hoped in non air conditioned cars, and some headed for the trains! We are truly blessed! We saved the amazing part of the Algarve for last! We visited the Ponta da Piedade! We rode a boat out in the ocean to see these amazing rock formations! Pictures can't do justice!

This was our nice little boat driver who told us about the many formations in Portuguese as Kevin translated it to English!
I was glad my kids know how to swim and Kevin was holding on tight to Mylee because they offered no life jackets! Ally was very worried about Mylee. It was an extraordinary view and we are so glad we did it!

We saw so much and did so much. But there is so much more we want to see and do! Our trip was amazing to say the least! We are so grateful for the opportunity that we had to visit Europe, see Grandma and Grandpa Yeager serving in England, and to visit the areas Kevin served in Portugal! It was the experience of a lifetime! We are so blessed to have had this opportunity! We can't wait to go back again! Start saving now and we will take all of you with us!!
